EPA Lead Renovator Training – Refresher Certification Course

Renovator refresher certification training course was first issued in June 2003 as a shared effort of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, together with the U.S. HUD’s Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control.

The lead renovator certification training course was extensively revised in 2008 following issuance of EPA’s Renovation, Repair, and Painting regulations. The EPA lead refresher certification training course underwent further alterations in 2011 to address regulatory modifications and feedback on course information.
